Queen Cupcake

Treat Box

Printable

Your dearest can view their cupcake through the cellophane window which makes it appear to be the queen's fancy updo, sprinkled with jewels! Two complexions for the queen are available with my download. There is one difference on the printable…you will notice that I revised the height of her hair because it was just so much taller than your average cupcake frosting.

The sides of the box feature "Do You Love Me?" and Happy Valentine's Day". I've also included spaces to write your heartfelt message on the back of the box.

The design is a digital file that prints best in PDF format. I truly dream of purchasing a Cricut soon and will definitely update my design when I’m fortunate enough to do that.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Supplies

White card stock, 11" x 17" and 8.5" x 11"
Red bright paper, 11" x 17"
3" cellophane sheet
Scissors
X-Acto knife
Ruler
Craft glue
Small sponge brush
Pencil
  1. Purchase and download printables from my page, Queen Cupcake Box by Chocoladity on DeviantArt.
  2. Print on 11" x 17" white card stock. If you would like red paper lining you will need to skip to step 4., score the fold lines and glue your cut-out sections on the red paper, then cut them out again.
  3. Print the Insert page on 8.5" x 11" white card stock.
  4. Cut all three designs out. I used scissors for most of the cutting plus an X-Acto knife for areas that were hard to reach.
  5. Cut the queen's hair out as shown in picture (A) and glue the 3" cellophane to the inside of the box to cover the opening.
  6. Use a ruler with your X-Acto knife to LIGHTLY score the fold lines. The box insert does not have fold lines printed on it but you may place the ruler at the corners of the insert to score it. Use the end of your ruler to flatten the box folds. Warning: If you press down too deep you will cut through your card stock.
  7. Use craft glue and a sponge brush to attach both sections of the box together as seen in picture (B).
  8. Glue the other tab to the opposite side to close the box.
  9. Assemble the bottom of the box as shown in picture (C).
  10. Fold the tabs on the cupcake box Insert and place it inside the box, and you're ready to present a tasty cupcake!
